As part of its cultural activities aimed at promoting awareness and enriching knowledge among members and visitors, Automobile & Touring Club of Egypt – Marina Branch hosted a special cultural seminar on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The event featured journalist and author Maysa El-Silkawy, under the title “Mohamed Ali Pasha’s Vision in Establishing Modern Egypt.”
The seminar attracted a distinguished audience of club members and guests. Ms. El-Silkawy delivered an engaging presentation exploring Mohamed Ali Pasha’s intellectual perspectives and reformist vision, and how his leadership laid the foundations of the modern Egyptian state. The session also included an open discussion, where attendees shared their views and inquiries about this significant chapter in Egypt’s history.
The event was held under the patronage of Ms. Nadia El-Rashidi, Head of the Marina Social Committee, and Mr. Nabil El-Beshbeshi, Head of the Cultural Committee, in a friendly and intellectually rich atmosphere that highlighted the club’s role in promoting culture and historical awareness.
