Mr. Mohamed Askar, Vice President of the Board of the Automobile and Touring Club of Egypt, and the first Egyptian to lead the Customs Council of the International Federation of Automobiles and Tourism (FIA & AIT), led the council’s first session for the year 2025.
The session took place as part of the Extraordinary General Assembly of the FIA & AIT, held in Macau from June 9 to 12, 2025.
Mr. Askar’s leadership of the session reflects the growing role of Egypt in international organizations focused on mobility, tourism, and customs-related issues. His appointment marks a significant milestone for the Club and for Egyptian representation on the global stage.
The Automobile and Touring Club of Egypt is proudly represented at the assembly by Mr. Mohamed Askar and Dr. Dalia Monsef, Member of the Board, both of whom continue to contribute actively and effectively to the Federation’s various councils and initiatives.
