As part of its commitment to cultural and touristic activities, the Automobile and Touring Club of Egypt is pleased to announce a special trip to “Islamic Cairo” on Saturday, June 21st, where participants will explore some of the most important historical and religious landmarks in the heart of Cairo.
The trip itinerary includes visits to:
- Sultan Hassan Mosque
- Al-Rifa’i Mosque
- Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque
- Bayt Al-Kritliyya (Gayer-Anderson Museum)
- Al-Mawlawiyah Theater
The journey will begin with a gathering in front of the Club’s Cairo headquarters at 9:30 AM, followed by a guided tour led by a professional tour guide. The group will start by visiting Sultan Hassan Mosque and Al-Rifa’i Mosque, after which they will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the famous El-Gahsh Restaurant in the Sayeda Zeinab district. The tour will then continue to Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque, Bayt Al-Kritliyya, and conclude with a visit to the Al-Mawlawiyah Theater.
Participation fees are set at EGP 600 for club members and EGP 650 for non-members.

The trip is organized under the supervision of Ms. Riham Ramzy Hanna, Head of the Club’s Trips Committee, who emphasized that the trip aims to enhance cultural and historical awareness while offering a unique and enriching experience among Cairo’s iconic Islamic landmarks.
