This morning, the 14th edition of the Cross Egypt Challenge 2025 Rally was officially launched from the city of Alexandria. The event is organized by the Automobile and Touring Club of Egypt in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Alexandria Cosmopolitan, and held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority.
Wide International Participation
This year’s rally features 49 motorcycles with participants representing 10 different countries:
Egypt – Jordan – United Arab Emirates – Saudi Arabia – United States – Italy – United Kingdom – Germany – France – Taiwan.
First Stage
The rally set off from Alexandria heading to Giza, where participants were welcomed by:

Raouf Gaafar – Board Member and Head of the Racing and Rally Committee.

Wael Abdel Galil – Deputy General Manager and Director of Sports Activities.
An International Tourism Event
The Cross Egypt Challenge Rally is officially listed on the calendar of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) under the Touring Events category, and is also part of the Touring World Challenge 2025.
The rally aims to promote Egypt internationally and highlight its rich touristic potential through a journey covering 2,400 km of paved roads, passing through several Egyptian cities and historical landmarks.
Route
Alexandria → Giza → Bahariya Oasis → Dakhla → Kharga → Luxor → Hurghada → Ain Sokhna → Finish Line at the Pyramids of Dahshur.
