The Social Committee in Cairo is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the club’s regulations and the council’s resolutions related to the Social Department at the Cairo branch, as well as its internal system (within the social sections), as follows: —

Expressing opinions and providing recommendations aimed at improving the performance of the club’s social facilities — such as the kitchen, dining halls, rooftop, and various social lounges — and ensuring that all these facilities across the club premises are kept clean and well-organized. -
Reviewing matters that involve violations of the club’s regulations and bylaws, and submitting recommendations as deemed appropriate. -
Examining members’ complaints submitted to the committee and providing recommendations regarding them. -
Studying and presenting proposals aimed at enhancing the quality of social services at the Cairo branch. -
Developing programs and systems for social and entertainment events, as well as receptions held at the Cairo branch. -
Submitting proposals related to furnishing the Cairo premises, carrying out regular maintenance, efficiency upgrades, and interior decorations. -
Providing opinions and recommendations concerning the improvement and development of food and beverage varieties, as well as the modification of menus and prices in accordance with market rates. -
Proposing rental fees for halls used for members’ events, as well as fees for accompanying guests and the service charges for bringing in food and beverages not available within the club.
The Social Committee in Alexandria
The committee undertakes the aforementioned responsibilities concerning the Alexandria Rest House, in addition to the following:

Proposing schedules for members and their accompanying guests to visit and use the Rest House, as well as the operating hours for swimming pools and changing rooms. -
Proposing entrance fees for accompanying guests at the Rest House during different times and seasons, as well as the fees for their use of swimming pools and changing rooms. -
Proposing the scheduling and designation of areas within the Rest House that may be accessed by different age groups, as well as specifying restricted areas that members are prohibited from entering, in order to ensure their safety and well-being. -
Providing opinions and recommendations regarding entertainment centers, service outlets, and food supply offers submitted or operated by contractors each season, in accordance with the applicable financial and legal regulations.
The Social Committee in Marina
The committee undertakes the same responsibilities applicable to the Alexandria Rest House, in addition to the following:

Proposing entrance fees for accompanying guests at the Rest House during various times and seasons, as well as fees for the use of changing rooms, car parking and overnight stays, boat rentals, and the use of the Club Car. -
Supervising hotel-related services and establishing guidelines and systems to ensure the continuous improvement of these services, providing members with a standard that matches the quality of high-end hotels.
Technical (Specialized) Committees
The Board of Directors is assisted by specialized technical committees formed by the Board, which serve in an advisory capacity. Each committee consists of one or more board members — one of whom acts as the committee rapporteur — along with a number of club members possessing expertise relevant to the committee’s area of work. The selection of members is made by the Board in accordance with the club’s Articles of Association.
The total number of members in any committee shall not exceed ten, including the rapporteur, and shall not be fewer than three. A meeting quorum is established when at least this minimum number is present.
Minutes must be prepared for every meeting held by these committees and submitted to the Executive Office, and subsequently to the Board of Directors, accompanied by the necessary recommendations. The Board has the authority to approve or reject these recommendations without the obligation to provide reasons.

Proposing and studying the necessary measures and procedures to make roads safer, reduce accidents, and address traffic-related issues. -
Proposing and examining the needs of roads and highways across the Republic in terms of traffic and directional signage, in coordination with the relevant authorities. -
Studying ways to provide services and emergency assistance on the country’s main roads through the establishment of service and rescue centers, in cooperation with relevant entities, private companies, or with government support. -
Organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops aimed at promoting traffic awareness, and participating in similar events organized by other institutions in Egypt that share the same interest.

Proposing and organizing trips for club members both domestically and internationally, supervising their implementation, and seeking to secure special benefits for members on trips organized by travel and airline companies. -
Coordinating with the club’s affiliated travel agency to arrange diverse tourism programs for members, offering them the best possible advantages. -
Communicating with travel agencies to obtain details of their domestic and international trip programs and conditions, with the aim of securing exclusive offers and privileges for club members.

Reviewing revenue and expenditure accounts, as well as the balance sheet, and discussing the auditor’s report on the concluded fiscal year before it is presented to the Board of Directors, accompanied by observations and recommendations. -
Examining the draft budget proposal for revenues and expenditures of the upcoming fiscal year — submitted by the Club’s General Manager and Treasurer — before it is presented to the Board of Directors, together with comments and recommendations. -
Monitoring and studying the auditor’s periodic reports and observations before they are submitted to the Board of Directors, accompanied by relevant comments and recommendations. -
Following up and reviewing the investment and utilization of the club’s financial resources (such as deposits and projects), and proposing appropriate means to strengthen and enhance the club’s financial position and reserves. -
Monitoring and reviewing the proper use of the club’s allocated resources in service delivery, comparing returns (financial or moral) against costs, and proposing the necessary organizational controls. -
Considering and approving any requests to exceed the budgeted allocations, as well as requests for allocating new financial resources not included in the approved budget. -
Submitting proposals to increase revenues or reduce expenditures. -
Reviewing any matters referred to it by the Board of Directors. -
Engaging financial and technical experts as consultants whenever necessary, to ensure financial discipline and serve the club’s best interests. -
Reviewing the club’s current financial regulations and submitting proposals for their modification and modernization whenever required, ensuring that implementation aligns with the provisions of the regulations.
The Legal Committee is responsible for providing legal opinions and advice on the following matters:

Subjects referred to it by the Board of Directors or the Executive Office. -
Reviewing the club’s various regulations and amending those that the Board of Directors requests to be revised. -
Conducting investigations involving club members regarding alleged violations and submitting the investigation results to the Board of Directors. -
Supervising the club’s Legal Department, monitoring its activities, and evaluating its performance.

Supervising all bridge-related activities within the club. -
Promoting awareness of the game, enhancing its standard, and encouraging wider participation among members. -
Establishing the technical and organizational rules to be followed in the bridge activity hall. -
Setting the regulations governing guest participation in the game and organizing tournaments between members as well as with other counterpart institutions. -
Settling disputes that may arise between members during gameplay.

Providing technical opinions regarding construction projects approved by the club. -
Offering technical input on engineering designs and contracts entered into by the club. -
Supervising the implementation of new club facilities, as well as overseeing regular maintenance, improvement, efficiency enhancement, and development works. -
Providing technical opinions on the contractual value of agreements related to the sale or purchase of club-owned real estate properties. -
Conducting regular engineering inspections of the main club premises and its various rest houses, and submitting any proposals or recommendations as needed. -
Reviewing and studying any engineering projects or matters referred to it by the Board of Directors or the Executive Office. -
Reviewing and approving tender documents, specifications, and statements of account for projects initiated by the club.
Customs and International Relations Committee

Its responsibility is to review customs claims and negotiate with the customs authorities to resolve any disputes between them and the club.

Supervising the editing and preparation of the club’s magazine and periodic newsletters. -
Organizing seminars, events, forums, and cultural activities across various fields. -
Overseeing the club’s library and ensuring it is regularly updated and enriched with the latest publications and periodicals.
Follow-up, Evaluation, and Personnel Affairs Committee

Reviewing and studying employees’ requests and their labor, financial, and administrative issues, and providing appropriate recommendations in this regard. -
Examining and developing the structure of the club’s executive administration to improve and enhance performance in alignment with operational requirements. -
Proposing and defining the structure, descriptions, and classifications of job positions. -
Proposing and reviewing the wage structure and bonus system in line with the club’s operational needs and the economic conditions of both the club and its employees. -
Proposing and establishing guidelines for the system used to evaluate employee performance and efficiency levels. -
Proposing regulations related to the payment of salaries, incentives, and bonuses. -
Monitoring the implementation of Board of Directors’ resolutions in general, and specifically those related to personnel affairs.
Motor Sports Committee (Races and Rallies)

Reviewing the agenda and activity plans prepared by the relevant department to ensure coverage of a full calendar year. -
Reviewing the proposed budget for the implementation of activities and submitting it to the Executive Office for approval by the Board of Directors. -
Reviewing training and qualification programs for drivers, as well as for technical, administrative, refereeing, and medical teams. -
Supervising coordination with international sports federations regarding events, specialized regulations, and collaboration for hosting both domestic and international sporting events. -
Reviewing specialized regulations for different disciplines, including technical, training, refereeing, financial, and disciplinary aspects. -
Proposing measures, procedures, and policies to promote motor sports, enhance their technical standards, and encourage youth participation. -
Overseeing the establishment and maintenance of the necessary records, ensuring proper registration and classification of competitors. -
Reviewing applications and studies related to the establishment and inspection of race tracks proposed by organizers or other entities, making decisions on them, and supervising their implementation in accordance with the rules and standards of relevant international federations. -
Supervising coordination with state authorities to ensure safety and security during the organization of international and local sporting events under the club’s supervision, and verifying that all required permits are obtained. -
Overseeing the organization and management of sporting events and reviewing the regulations and systems governing their execution. -
Supervising the training programs and plans for racing teams to prepare them for participation in international competitions held either in Egypt or abroad. -
Reviewing and approving the necessary authorizations for issuing various types of sports licenses. -
Submitting proposals for the formation of subcommittees dedicated to each type of motor sport to the Executive Office and subsequently to the Board of Directors. -
Proposing qualified technical, refereeing, administrative, and medical personnel to serve within the club’s motorsport system.
