FIA Issues Important Announcements on the 2025 Presidential Elections

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), of which the Automobile and Touring Club of Egypt is an active member, has issued important announcements regarding the FIA Presidential Elections for 2025, scheduled to be held in December during the General Assemblies of the Federation.

Election Date: The FIA Presidential Elections will be held in December during the General Assemblies of the Federation.

Presidential List:
It is the official team of candidates presented by any person running for the position of President of the FIA and represents the proposed leadership team that will govern the Federation if the candidate is elected.

Deadline and Support Requirements:
To be eligible for election, the candidate must submit his Presidential List by October 24, 2025, and must have the support of at least:

• 6 National Automobile Clubs (ACNs)

• 6 Mobility Clubs

• 6 National Sporting Authorities (ASNs)

The proposed Presidential Team includes leadership positions such as:
President (Head of the List), President of the Senate, Deputy President for Mobility, Deputy President for Sport, and 7 Vice Presidents for Sport representing the regions of the Middle East and North Africa, Africa, North America, South America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe.

Nomination Procedures:
Candidates must contact the clubs to obtain their support before submitting the names to the Nominations Committee for approval, and the Federation confirmed that the time period available to form the list remains unchanged.
